Schoool Leadership Development Program (SLDP)

OBJECTIVE

To empower low cost private school Principals, Vice-principals and Head Teachers to bring change into the lives of teachers and students. Through this SLDP module school heads/principals are sensitized on educational management aspects with particular focus on education theories, interactive teaching methods, effective school management & the use of pedagogical skills.

POLICY

Cluster Based Trainings (CBTs) are imparted through various organizations in Public Private Partnership (PPP):

• Cluster comprises 15-20 principals and head teachers
• Three days ( 5 hours per day training program)
• Each trainee will go through following three levels of training:
  Level 1:  Foundation
  Level 2: Advance 
  Level 3: Need Based 
• Follow-up of each training  will be carried out after two months of its commencement leading to a certification

HOW TO BECOME PARTNER IN CBT

• Private organizations are invited to submit Expression of Interests (EoIs) through advertisement for conduction of Cluster Based Trainings through Public Private Partnership
• EoIs are shortlisted by Professional Development Certification Body (PDCB) constituted by Board of Directors (BoDs) of PEF
• Shortlisted organizations do presentation in front of PDCB for selection
  
• Selected organizations conduct pilot workshops and based upon the findings, PDCB recommends the organizations for partnership for conduction of “Cluster Based Trainings” under Continuous Professional Development Program (CPDP)

TRAINING EXECUTION PROCEDURE

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed with the organizations recommended by PDCB and equal number of trainings are allocated for the “Evaluation Phase.” Further allocation of trainings and continuation of partnership depends upon the organization’s performance during evaluation phase.

Standardized Content List
Level 1 (Foundation)

• Day 1:

School Leadership, Management & Administration

• Day 2:

Communication Skills, Public Dealing, Community Interaction, Legendary Personalities Profile

• Day 3:

          Record Keeping, Significance of Professional Development, Official Co-ordination,     Students Affairs

        Group Discussion & Presentation is mandatory for each day

 

Level 2 ( Advance)

     Day 1:

• Leadership, Management &Administration, Communication Skills, Public Dealing

    Day 2:

• Record Keeping, Significance of Professional Development

    Day 3:

• Record Keeping, Official Co-ordination, Students Affairs, Community Interaction, Assessment & Evaluation

          Group Discussion & Presentation is mandatory for each day.

 

Level 3 ( Need Based)
