1-What is the Content Book?

Content book is prepared at the start of each academic year with reference to PTB books. All topics given in the PTB books are included in the content book. Partner schools are supposed to prepare their students according to the contents given in the content book. This content book is available in English and Urdu version.

2-What is the syllabus for regular QATs?

Syllabus for the regular QATs is prepared separately which is uploaded every year.

3-Which classes are tested for QATs?

According to the policy defined by BOD-PEF, two classes from primary level and three classes from elementary and secondary levels are tested. The classes to be tested are selected randomly.

4-How can we get the model test papers for QATs?

5-What is the passing percentage for a school in regular QAT?

According to the policy defined by BOD-PEF, following is the program wise passing criteria for regular QAT:

6-What is the selection criterion for top performing school and teachers’ honoraria?

Reward to the best performing school in district is calculated as per approved SOP's by competent authority / program committee.

7-How teachers can prepare the students for QAT?

Teachers can prepare the students for QAT by keeping in mind the followings points:

  1. ADU has designed the content book for each subject and each class. This is a very supportive document for the guidance of teachers. It must be shared with the relevant teachers. This will help them to know about the important topics for QAT.
  2. Punjab Text Books are used as a source to analyze the student learning outcomes, so the rigorous practice of text and exercises of PTB books in classroom will eventually lead to the better results in QAT.
  3. All the papers are developed on the pattern of model papers, so by practicing the same pattern in classroom will help them in actual QAT.
  4. The supplementary syllabus is also another important document developed by ADU by keeping in view the month in which QAT will be conducted. It clearly defines the percentage of syllabus which will be included in QAT. Teachers must have a copy of this syllabus so that they can prepare the students accordingly.
  5. QAT papers are developed on students learning outcomes (SLO). So while teaching in the classroom teachers must focus on the conceptual knowledge rather than teaching only the content.

8-During QAT where the principal should do signatures and stamp of school?

For the secrecy and transparency of QAT conduct, school principal has to sign at 3 steps before and after the QAT. He/she is not supposed to sign anywhere else except on these 3 steps which are as under:

  1. Before the start of QAT, principal has to ensure that the QAT seal is intact and the school packet has not been already opened. If it is so, he/ she will sign on the back of the first strip attached with the large packet.
  2. After the QAT when the conduct team has packed the papers, then the principal will sign on the back side of the second strip attached with the large envelope. He/ she will not show any kind of identity (initials, signature or school stamp) on small class packets or inside flyers.
  3. Principal has to sign and put school stamps on following documents:
    A) Attendance sheet of each class.
    B) Conduct team report
    C) PEF monitor report (if any)

9-Where a principal should report if the seal of school packet is broken/ not intact before the start of QAT?

Principal must take the picture of broken/ not intact seal. He/ she can inform to the ADU- PEF office / control room telephonically (List of Numbers). After the conduct of QAT the principal can submit the application to Dir/ HOD ADU, along with pictorial evidences, so that necessary action can be taken.

10-What is the prescribed seating plan of students during QAT and who is responsible for these arrangements?

Conduct team is bound to take the QAT test during the school timings. For this prior sitting arrangement of students for QAT is the responsibility of the school principal. They should be well aware of these arrangements and complete it before the day of QAT.

11-When a student is considered as fake and what are the penalties of cheating during QAT?

ADU ensures the authenticity of QAT at every step. The conduct team is advised to examine carefully the enrollment of each school. PEF expects his partner schools' principals to be honest and fair in this regard.
