Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) and Mahmud Ali Kasuri Welfare Trust (MAK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the rehabilitation of flood-affected schools, reaffirming their shared commitment to ensuring quality education for children in vulnerable communities. Joint field visits to more than 30 proposed schools, MAK and PEF prepared a comprehensive analytical report and mutually selected 8 schools for immediate rehabilitation under MAK’s funding and support. The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Secretary School Education Department, Punjab, Muddassir Riaz Malik, and Chairman Punjab Education Foundation, Malik Shoaib Awan, as chief guests. Managing Director Punjab Education Foundation, Shahid Farid, briefed on the objectives and significance of this collaborative initiative. This partnership marks an important step toward restoring educational infrastructure and creating a better learning environment for students affected by recent floods.
